Bigoa Chuol

Bigoa Chuol is a Melbourne-based published writer, editor, and curator. In 2020 she launched Dichōtomi Mag, a platform to uplift and celebrate the aptitude of African creatives across the diaspora. Bigoa curated a collection of new literary work, published online titled FCAC Writes 2020. She also co-produced and facilitated a community program for South Sudanese young people about culture, history, and gender called Medida and Chill in partnership with Arts Gen and Next in Colour. Next In Colour is a ground-breaking creative initiative run by Colour Between the Lines (CBTL) a team of five African creative practitioners.

Bigoa is a co-facilitator for Creatives of Colour, an online platform and shared space for creative people of colour, by creative people of colour, based on the Kulin Country (Melbourne). She also works as an independent creative producer with AfroHub, an organisation dedicated to highlighting the work of African Australian creatives in Melbourne.
